PLEASE NOTE:

We are excited to announce that An Wushu has moved to Shanghai! We are so happy that foreign students will be able to enjoy the exciting city of Shanghai while learning traditional kung fu. New students can attend from April 2020, as we are still building the new school, but are encouraged to apply now as visa paperwork, etc, can take a long time. The price will be about 20% different in either direction (cheaper or more expensive), so we will take bookings but not payments until we are able to confirm this. Keep training hard!

Applying is easy:

(2) We will write to you via email to book in a Skype video call with An Shifu.
(3) We’re then available via email & chat to help you prepare for your trip: visa help, etc.
(4) Then you arrive and start training!

The Skype call is important! As a family school, An Shifu likes to meet students personally. He also likes to make sure our school is best for your goals and that you are best for our school. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you have about the style/s you want to learn, life at the school, or anything at all.

A private room (single bed, desk, and air conditioner) is available for an extra 2000 RMB per month.

Prices are in Chinese Yuan (RMB). Depending on the exchange rate, $1 USD is approximately 6-7 Chinese Yuan and €1 Euro is approximately 7 – 8 Chinese Yuan.

What happened to your old website? There was a lot more information.

Unfortunately our website was hacked and deleted by our host. We put this one up quickly so people can continue to come and train with us. It takes us some time to write in English (without mistakes!), but soon this one will be better. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I stay less than a month?

Yes, students can stay for as long or as little as they would like.

What can I expect to learn in X-months?

This is really hard to say. Are you a beginner, or advanced? Are you of average fitness or very fit? An Shifu can give you more information once he meets and asks you questions on Skype, but ultimately it’s up to how hard you train.
